Products I Regret Buying
Hello!
So this is a slightly negative post however this is my personal opinion so these products may work fantastically for you!
Rimmel Wake me up Foundation- I have combination to oily skin and so this product isn't really marketed towards my skin type as I have a natural "glow". However you can visibly see the shimmer in the foundation on the skin and therefore I don't find this product to be very flattering even for dry skin gals. The coverage is good but the colour was very orange, even with my yellow undertones!
Superdrug Dry Shampoo- I bought these along with the one for dark hair on a 3 for 1 offer (bargain!) but now I know why. I can cope with the dark hair one however the two scented ones leave a visible white cast on the hair and they don't leave the hair feeling fresh. I much prefer and recommend Batiste dry shampoo.
Maybelline Dream Matte Mousse- I used this product for about two years when I was younger and had no clue about make up. I bought it purely because a friend had it and being naive I believed every foundation was the same. I have since realised that this is possibly the worst foundation I could have used. The coverage wears off easily, it will cling to any dry patches and the powder finish can give a very cakey look. I would only recommend to those with slightly oily but otherwise perfect skin and even then you're probably better off without it!
Nivea lip butter in Raspberry rose- This product smells amazing (and tastes!) and feels moisturising however the very pale pink colour makes any dry patches on the lips appear white and after a while of wearing it produces scum in the inner corners of the mouth.
Estee Lauder Lipstick in Tiger Eye- This lipstick it basically just gold shimmer with flecks of gold glitter. I thought it may complement a tan in summer but I was disappointed with the rough texture and the uneven glitter left behind when it starts to wear off. I would struggle to find someone who could pull this look off, unless its for fancy dress.
Bourjois Bio Detox concealer- The product has little coverage and seems to separate instead of blending into the skin. I feel the rollerball with the anti-puffiness claims does nothing but hinder application. I would recommend the collection lasting perfection concealer instead for under eyes and blemishes.
Rimmel Lasting Finish 1000 Kisses lip tint- I bought this product for prom in 100 Endless Blossom. I was very disappointed in the staying power and colour pay off on the lips as it looked like I had nothing on at all! The balm on the other end of the product was useless at moisturising, it just felt waxy, and it's cap has since broken. I would recommend Revlon Just Bitten Kissable Balm Stains for actual lasting power and colour.
Hope these reviews helped!

Dainty Doll Blush Review
Hello!
I was curious to see how good Nicola Roberts makeup range for paler skin was, so when I saw a selection of products on the Fragrance Direct website for under £3 each I knew I had to try them! I believe they are still available online and I've waited until summer for this post to try them out on tanned skin as well.
I bought two powder blushes and one cream blush from her range.

| 003 & 004 Powder Blush |
Cream Blush in 003- On pale skin tones this slightly greyish pink blush could be used as a contour however I have yellow undertones therefore I find that only the slight silver particles show up when I'm tanned. This means that I will only reach for this product in the winter months but even then I can find it too neutral.
The powder blushes on the other hand are favourites of mine all year round! 003 can make a great highlight shade or just a simple everyday blush thats easy to apply and hard to go over board with!
I will also say that 004 is very comparable to the nars 'orgasm' blush with the coral and gold shimmer combination. I find that this

shade works better with a tan.
| 003 Cream, 003 Powder & 004 Powder |
I think that the packaging is great because of the large mirror and sleek appearance. The lasting power is also quite good and its a bargain when bought online!
I hope this was helpful
